31 weeks

Whoa. That's unbelievable. Am I really that close to having a baby, becoming a Mom and changing my life forever? YES! :) It really is so amazing to be on this journey of pregnancy. Every time I feel this baby take up even more space inside of me, I awe in amazement. I am so grateful for this miracle. I'm sure I'll be in even more awe after I actually have my baby. Things have been pretty good. I was so glad when I passed my second glucose test. I don't wish that lousy test for anyone. I was so proud of myself for not puking when I totally felt like I was going to. I just forced myself to take deep breaths and look up and I overcame! There was no way I was going to drink another one of those things after 2 hours of waiting. Ha! Anyway, it was an experience I will never forget. I'm just glad I don't have a phobia of needles. Sheesh. Other than that, the baby has been measuring the way he should and his heartbeat has been great every time I've been to the docto...

Life in SLC

Hello again. Things are going pretty well for the Cedenos. Tomorrow will mark 2 weeks of student teaching. YEAH! It has been a great experience. So far, I have taught one lesson every day this week and observed last week. It was great to see the first day of school and to see the task it is to get children into a routine and to help them remember the rules, etc. I love watching my cooperating teacher. She is great. It just motivates me to plan great lessons and to be as enthusiastic as she is. I know that there is so much ahead of me to get done, but I will do it and try to enjoy it as much as I can. Roberto has found a job! :) He will be working on Temple Square (go figure, his Mom works there) doing landscaping and putting up the Christmas lights. Ooh how exciting! He is glad to be out of the house soon and bringing in some chedda, as he calls it. Our little baby has been growing and growing. Today marks 25 weeks! Whoa time flies. Our little boy will be with us so soon. I have found ...

Moving along

Hey there. I am now writing from Salt Lake City, Utah where we will be living for the next five months! Last Tuesday the 27th of July, after a couple of days of packing and cleaning, we were finally able to hit the road and now here we are! (thank you 91st ward, you are amazing) Its interesting to be here now so close to my family as opposed to being in Rexburg and not having them around. I feel like I'm just on a short vacation and we'll be back in Rexburg soon. I'm grateful for all that has happened to us so far and to be able to be here. This past week its been weird not having a set schedule or having anything major to worry about. Right before we left we had our last doctor's appointment ( in Idaho). We had the ultrasound done and then saw the doctor. Everything is looking great! I am so grateful that this pregnancy has been going great so far without any complications. It truly is all a miracle. The pic at the top is me at 20 weeks! :) ( I would have put pics from...

BABY

Well, we finally found out what we're having. I now kinda understand what woman's intuition is because I felt it early on in this pregnancy about what I was going to have and I was RIGHT!! We are having a BOY!!! :)

Thoughts on education and what's coming up

So the day finally came and now I sit here done with all the classes I have ever taken at BYU-Idaho. This is kinda unreal, I don't think I realize how big of a change this is going to be. Now I'm not done with everything yet, I still have to student teach but that's different. I no longer will be the student, I will be the teacher and that will be the last thing I am graded on before I get that beautiful diploma that certifies that I have done it! I am so grateful that I was able to go to BYU-Idaho, it truly has been such a huge blessing. I have learned so much and still the best is yet to come! I know that student teaching will truly show me a little more of what it feels like to be a teacher. I wonder what it will be like to be in the last months of my pregnancy through this whole experience. I don't have an exact calendar, but if i'm done when I think i will be, I will be 37 weeks along when its all over. With the baby being due around 2-3 weeks later. haha. Now ...

Pregnancy

So here begins the first of many posts to come about our darling baby to be. I am now at 17 weeks and sporting a little bump. Sometimes I feel like its really noticeable and then other days I feel like there's nothing, its weird. I guess it depends on what I wear too. Speaking of clothing, I NEED to buy maternity pants! I feel like I am so limited as to what I can buy being here in little 'ol Rexburg. So I need people's advice. Where have you gone to buy maternity clothing? Any tips so that I can save money and still look cute? I would really appreciate it. I have been feeling pretty dang good. I feel so blessed, really I kinda feel bad telling some other girls who have gone through pregnancy already and had to deal with all the morning sickness junk really badly because I just smile and say, Nope, I've been great and then they say LUCKY! And YES I do know that I am lucky and I am grateful. Its funny, I'm not even that big yet and yet the thought of getting any big...

Wonderful, New and EXCITING

The picture above somewhat describes the "road" that we have just gotten on and will be on for the rest of our lives. Of course there is always change, but there are certain events that take place in life where change is more evident and this is one of those times. Some of you (most of you) already know what this significant change is and how wonderful it truly is. But before I go ahead and just say it, I'll first share other things that have been going on. So we've been in school, and it's been just great. My experience at the school has ended due to school ending in May, which has lead me to had more time to get things done and rest which I LOVE. I also believe its because I'm a senior and because of the wonderful change and I deserve it. Ha. Roberto has been so involved in his classes, especially his web development class. Right now he is working on a website, which is also designed to be a family page. This is the link: cedenos.info My brother Daniel, has...
