Life in SLC

Hello again. Things are going pretty well for the Cedenos.

Tomorrow will mark 2 weeks of student teaching. YEAH! It has been a great experience. So far, I have taught one lesson every day this week and observed last week. It was great to see the first day of school and to see the task it is to get children into a routine and to help them remember the rules, etc. I love watching my cooperating teacher. She is great. It just motivates me to plan great lessons and to be as enthusiastic as she is. I know that there is so much ahead of me to get done, but I will do it and try to enjoy it as much as I can.

Roberto has found a job! :) He will be working on Temple Square (go figure, his Mom works there) doing landscaping and putting up the Christmas lights. Ooh how exciting! He is glad to be out of the house soon and bringing in some chedda, as he calls it.

Our little baby has been growing and growing. Today marks 25 weeks! Whoa time flies. Our little boy will be with us so soon. I have found a Doctor here and she is very sweet. I will be seeing her for every appointment and she will deliver the baby. Things have been looking good and I am so grateful for this miraculous experience.

Oh I also turned 22 this week. Yipee! lol We went to a movie- Despicable Me. It was pretty funny and cute. My Mom made me a cake homemade and it was delicious. I also got my haircut that day. Sorry-nothing totally new or exciting. I've decided I like my long hair and I'll probably keep it that way for a while. I just got a really good trim and it feels great! So it is somewhat shorter but nothing noticeable for anyone else but me to go crazy over. lol. And that was my day. :)

Hello there to all our family and friends. This is our first blog and we are excited to join all you bloggers out there! Since this is the first post, I thought I would just give a quick summary of our life right now. Roberto and I are currently in Rexburg, Idaho where we are both attending BYU-Idaho. This time of year we are off from school, so Roberto is working, doing landscaping and taking two night classes and I am looking for a job. We have been married for a little over a year and we are loving every moment together. Looking for a job in Rexburg has been tough (I've been looking since July), but in the mean time it has been a great opportunity for me to learn and grow from those around me. Recently I was able to find a temporary position for someone handing out flyers for their new website. Their paying me $50 bucks to do it! So I'm glad it's something. Other than that, I usually visit other people who are home all day, so if you want company, let me know! :) Roberto

I really don't want to talk about this because I feel like a broken record. Some of you may already know about this struggle I am about to spill over about. Why am I writing this? I don't know for sure really. Maybe it's for me. Maybe it's for you. Well, here it goes. Why is the title of my post "2 years ago"? Well, that's because that's how long I've been waiting. That's how long I've been wanting. Yes, I want another child. Why hasn't it happened yet? I'm not sure. A LOT has happened in the past 2 years. My body has gone through A LOT just this past year alone (Addison's). I understand that. Kind of. But it still doesn't change how I feel about having another baby. This past weekend we had Stake Conference (it's a bigger church meeting) and at the Saturday evening session, a woman shared a story about her daughter, who had to wait 11 years to adopt her 2 children and have them sealed to her in the temple.
