Blessing

On Sunday, February 6, 2011 Samuel was blessed by his father Roberto.

It was so much fun to have our family come to celebrate with us this special occasion. They all arrived on Saturday and we spent the day with them showing them campus. (what else right? haha) Later that night we had dinner and watched a movie. We got some air mattresses so that they could sleep in the living room and in Samuel's room.

Sunday morning we all went to church. Roberto did a beautiful job blessing our son. He did part of the blessing in Spanish and that's when I felt the spirit so strong it brought tears. :) It was an awesome day. Later on that day we ate together and then my family said goodbye. Oh it was hard to see them go. I wish that we could be able to spend more time together. I am grateful that we had that time together and that it went so well.

My baby is now 2 months old! AH! Someone make time stop!!

    Completely understand the wish to make time stop! Time never went by so quickly for me as when I had Livie.
    Samuel is so cute! I can't believe how quickly he's growing. I'm glad your family was able to make it for his blessing and that you all had such a good time.

    So beautiful!!!! We sure do miss your guys. Colby was craving that wonderful meal that you made us. He said, "can you make whatever it was the Roberto and Jessica made us?" Ha ha, you left an impression!

    I'm glad you were able to enjoy some time with family and that Samuel had such a wonderful blessing. Plus I have to tell you that your family picture in your blog header is gorgeous! I hope everything else is going well for you guys!

Hello there to all our family and friends. This is our first blog and we are excited to join all you bloggers out there! Since this is the first post, I thought I would just give a quick summary of our life right now. Roberto and I are currently in Rexburg, Idaho where we are both attending BYU-Idaho. This time of year we are off from school, so Roberto is working, doing landscaping and taking two night classes and I am looking for a job. We have been married for a little over a year and we are loving every moment together. Looking for a job in Rexburg has been tough (I've been looking since July), but in the mean time it has been a great opportunity for me to learn and grow from those around me. Recently I was able to find a temporary position for someone handing out flyers for their new website. Their paying me $50 bucks to do it! So I'm glad it's something. I really don't want to talk about this because I feel like a broken record. Some of you may already know about this struggle I am about to spill over about. Why am I writing this? I don't know for sure really. Maybe it's for me. Maybe it's for you. Well, here it goes. Why is the title of my post "2 years ago"? Well, that's because that's how long I've been waiting. That's how long I've been wanting. Yes, I want another child. Why hasn't it happened yet? I'm not sure. A LOT has happened in the past 2 years. My body has gone through A LOT just this past year alone (Addison's). I understand that. Kind of. But it still doesn't change how I feel about having another baby.
