Catch UP!

Hey! So once again I am back to my blogging business. It feels good. On to the fun part, to catch us up.

So Winter semester came and left, which ended with my graduation. My family came and we celebrated by going to the famous Pizza Pie Cafe aka Craigos. It was delish. I love having my family come see us. It was so fun.

We are now in Spring semester and we are LOVING this warmer weather that has shown up. Roberto is doing IBC this semester and he starts the business this coming week! So if you see Thirst on campus, be sure to check them out! They will be selling drinks such as Italian sodas and lemonades. I hope they do a good job.

Roberto was also called as 2nd counselor in the bishopric of our ward. Life doesn't seem to have changed much since that happened, except for sitting without him in sacrament. Maybe it will get crazier later? Here's hoping that I will be able to adapt no matter what happens. Roberto also turned the big 30 this past Mothers day. Roberto's Mom, new step-dad and brothers came up to visit us. It was great! We went to Fat Cats to celebrate. I love that man.

Samuel is now 5 months old. Holy cow! This little man is enjoying every moment of growing up. He now can roll over from tummy to back, babbles and sputters like crazy, and LOVES eating rice cereal. I was so surprised how well he ate his first time. He was definitely ready when I offered him some. I made sure I waited until he was practically taking my food off my plate and opening his mouth every time we offered him some. He's growing up so fast.

I, of course have gotten the hang of the stay-at-home mom lifestyle. Lately I have rediscovered the love of reading for pleasure and it is becoming a favorite past time. I enjoy reading fantasy as well as children's books and young adult series. I just finished The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants series. It was a good read. Now I'm reading Fablehaven. Seems pretty interesting.
My first Mother's day was wonderful. Roberto took me out for breakfast Saturday morning. We had pancakes at the Pancake Shack here in town. It was yummy. On Sunday he gave me a figurine from Willow Tree along with a card. I love it; It is beautiful. I am truly blessed. Life is good.

I have always wondered whether or not the Flapjack shack is any good. Glad to know they are good.
What a fun mother's day present. I love the willow tree figurines.
