He is so cute, Jessica! I love his hair and the facial expressions he makes {looking at the photos on facebook}! He's precious. I can't believe how long he is! He's about three inches longer than Livie was! Wow. Good luck with the next few weeks. I know what a whirlwind they can feel like.
Hello there to all our family and friends. This is our first blog and we are excited to join all you bloggers out there! Since this is the first post, I thought I would just give a quick summary of our life right now. Roberto and I are currently in Rexburg, Idaho where we are both attending BYU-Idaho. This time of year we are off from school, so Roberto is working, doing landscaping and taking two night classes and I am looking for a job. We have been married for a little over a year and we are loving every moment together. Looking for a job in Rexburg has been tough (I've been looking since July), but in the mean time it has been a great opportunity for me to learn and grow from those around me. Recently I was able to find a temporary position for someone handing out flyers for their new website. Their paying me $50 bucks to do it! So I'm glad it's something. Other than that, I usually visit other people who are home all day, so if you want company, let me know! :) Roberto...
This past week was amazing. Roberto and I, along with Samuel, volunteered in the Get Connected program at BYU-Idaho. It was an experience to remember. Here's how it all started. So Roberto is the one who is in school(BYU-I) now, which is why we were able to participate in Get Connected. Last semester he asked me if I would be interested in doing it with him, since he was married, the only way he could participate was if I was his partner. So I think, yeah that would be so fun, why not? The semester passes on and we are assigned during the semester to be recruitment reps. I start thinking-is this what we signed up for? to walk around and tell other married students about get connected? what about the whole orientation thing? The semester ended and the 7 week break came. We get another e-mail talking about get connected spirit conference which would start September 6th. Then I think-oh so that's the orientation part, the fun part. And THEN I start thinking about Sa...
Hey there! Its been a long time again since I have written on this family blog. Now that I think of it, this blog has become a type of a personal journal for me, and it makes sense, since I am the one writing on this blog, and I think that's ok. So the last time I wrote, I was actually going through another manic episode...it had become clear that I was definitely Bipolar. The difference this time was that I was pregnant with our third child and it was a girl! We were so excited, especially since this pregnancy occurred naturally. I was hospitalized for a week or so, and it was brutal. It was a very trying time for our family. I am very grateful to say that we made it through. Today my daily routine includes taking lithium and abilify in order to manage my Bipolar disorder. I'm happy to report that I haven't had an episode since being put on medication. It's been great!
