Christmas and New Years '09

This past Christmas and New Years was great. We went to Salt Lake City and had Christmas Eve with Roberto's family and Christmas dinner with my parents. At Roberto's parents, we had a great feast, opened presents and danced the night away. At my parents house we did similar with dinner. Here are some pics:

We went back to Salt Lake once more for New Years. Since Roberto owns a DJ system, we offered to DJ for our parents' ward New Years Eve Party. The party turned out great, there was food, dancing and even sparkling cider to toast to the new year! Happy 2010!

2009 was a great year full of wonderful blessings and opportunities for Roberto and I. We had the opportunity to travel to Ecuador to meet Roberto's Father/family and to Guatemala to visit his sister Heidi and her family. We also got settled into Rexburg and had our first semester together and have enjoyed living the civilian life as Roberto had separated from the Air Force.

The Lord has been so good to us, we look forward to the new year with hope for the best! :D
Here's to 2010! Hope this year is great for all of you!

Hello there to all our family and friends. This is our first blog and we are excited to join all you bloggers out there! Since this is the first post, I thought I would just give a quick summary of our life right now. Roberto and I are currently in Rexburg, Idaho where we are both attending BYU-Idaho. This time of year we are off from school, so Roberto is working, doing landscaping and taking two night classes and I am looking for a job. We have been married for a little over a year and we are loving every moment together. Looking for a job in Rexburg has been tough (I've been looking since July), but in the mean time it has been a great opportunity for me to learn and grow from those around me. Recently I was able to find a temporary position for someone handing out flyers for their new website. Their paying me $50 bucks to do it! So I'm glad it's something. Other than that, I usually visit other people who are home all day, so if you want company, let me know! :) Roberto

I really don't want to talk about this because I feel like a broken record. Some of you may already know about this struggle I am about to spill over about. Why am I writing this? I don't know for sure really. Maybe it's for me. Maybe it's for you. Well, here it goes. Why is the title of my post "2 years ago"? Well, that's because that's how long I've been waiting. That's how long I've been wanting. Yes, I want another child. Why hasn't it happened yet? I'm not sure. A LOT has happened in the past 2 years. My body has gone through A LOT just this past year alone (Addison's). I understand that. Kind of. But it still doesn't change how I feel about having another baby.
