What we believe
I had a very interesting experience last night and I just had to write about it. For the first time in a very long time, I had a conversation with a person not of my faith. For the most part it was fine, I tried my best to let him know of my personal experiences and testimony and I didn't feel overly defensive or threatened by what he said. Even so, it still caused me great sadness because he didn't really care about what I had to say. It was as if he was having the conversation simply to tell me of all the flaws of my beliefs and just prove that I was wrong. I am a member of the church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and I always have been. I find peace and joy in living the gospel or in other words, living the lifestyle I have because of what I believe. The person I spoke with believes that the true meaning of life can be found in science and that there really is no purpose in being other than to just live as you see fit.
